Armenian Ambassador, U.S. Senator Roger Wicker highlight development of bilateral ties

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Ambassador to the U.S. Lilit Makunts has met with U.S. Senator Roger Wicker (R-MS).

The ambassador and the U.S. Senator discussed the visit of the U.S. Helsinki Commission delegation to Armenia led by the Senator in July, 2024 and the recent regional developments, the embassy said in a readout.

In particular, Ambassador Makunts briefed Senator Wicker оn the current state of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The significance of further developing Armenia-U.S. bilateral relations and deepening of cooperation was mutually emphasized.
