Armenian defense minister, German ambassador discuss cooperation

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 29, ARMENPRESS. On October 29, the Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with the newly appointed Ambassador of Germany Claudia Busch.

Minister Papikyan congratulated Ambassador Busch on her appointment and expressed his best wishes for further progress in the development of Armenia-Germany relations, the Ministry of Defense said in a readout. 

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state of defense cooperation between Armenia and Germany, as well as prospects for future cooperation.

The Minister provided an overview of ongoing defense reforms.

Key issues related to regional security were also addressed.
