Armenia cooperates with United States in all directions of defense sector, says Chief of General Staff

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Armenia cooperates with the United States in all directions of the defense sector, the Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces Lt. general Edward Asryan has said.

“We cooperate with the US in all defense sectors, it is a cooperation in the military, military-technical sectors,” he told reporters when asked to elaborate on the Armenia-U.S. defense cooperation. “There was a press release about my visit [to the U.S.], it mentions the circle of our cooperation.”

Lt. general Asryan declined to comment whether there’s a possibility of arms acquisitions from the United States.
