10 border guards killed in Iran’s southeast - state media

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 26, ARMENPRESS. Iranian state media said 10 border guards were killed on Saturday when “armed terrorists” clashed with a border police patrol in Taftan, Sistan and Baluchestan province.

“In the terrorist incident that took place an hour ago in Goharkoh Taftan transportation hub, 10 policemen were martyred,” IRNA news agency reported citing local police.

According to the report, the Iranian interior minister has ordered a task force to investigate the attack.
