Armenian Parliament Speaker, Czech lawmaker address issue of Armenian POWs held in Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 19, ARMENPRESS. The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia Alen Simonyan met with Marek Benda, the chairman of the Czech Republic-Armenia Friendship Group in the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament.

According to the Armenian Parliament's readout, the discussion primarily focused on strengthening cooperation and enhancing the existing relations between the two parliaments.

Speaker Simonyan also briefed the delegation on the details of the peace treaty signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the issue of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan was also addressed during the meeting.
