Secretary of Security Council lauds growing Armenia-EU ties at Forum 2000 in Prague

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 15, ARMENPRESS. Secretary of the Security Council Armen Grigoryan has participated in the Forum 2000 in Prague during his visit to the Czech Republic.

During the conference Secretary Grigoryan spoke about the Armenia-EU bilateral relations, underscoring the importance of the new Armenia-EU partnership agenda, as well as the launch of visa liberalization dialogue between Armenia and the EU, Grigoryan’s office said in a press release.

Secretary Grigoryan added that the Armenia-EU relationship, which has expanded and today encompasses the security sector, has never been as strong as it is now, and given the bilateral desire the relationship has a trend of stable development.

He stressed that the bilateral relationship is based on democracy. In this context, Secretary Grigoryan attached importance to the activity of the EU civilian mission and the work within the framework of the European Peace Facility.

Grigoryan then held a Q&A with participants of the forum.
