YEREVAN, OCTOBER 1, ARMENPRESS. The 1st National Science Week Armenia will promote science across the country with numerous events starting October 1.
The main theme of the event is “Bringing Science Closer to the Society”.
A Science Festival will take place every day this week from 15:00 to 21:00 in Yerevan’s Freedom Square, featuring master classes, discussions, lectures and seminars.
Organizers will hold events in kindergartens, schools and universities in other towns and cities in the country during October 1-6.
Organizers said Science Week Armenia will become an annual event.
Science Week Armenia is organized by Gituzh Initiative with support from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, the National Academy of Sciences and Yerevan City Hall.
