Pashinyan and Erdoğan express readiness to continue Armenia-Turkey normalization process without preconditions

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met on the sidelines of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the PM's office said in a readout.

The parties made a detailed reference to the steps already taken and the existing agreements within the framework of the process of normalization of Armenia-Turkey relations.

They emphasized the readiness to continue the settlement process without preconditions and give a new impulse to the relations. The parties also addressed regional issues.

Prime Minister Pashinyan informed President Erdogan about the current situation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan settlement process, the readiness to sign the agreement on the settlement of relations, as well as the "Crossroads of Peace" initiative of the Armenian government.
