Pashinyan and Erdogan meet in New York

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Within the framework of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Photos confirming the meeting have been published on the official social media pages of the Prime Minister of Armenia.

From the Armenian side, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Prime Minister's Spokesperson Nazeli Baghdasaryan and Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan were present at the meeting.

No further details are currently available.

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and his wife Anna Hakobyan left for a working visit to the United States from September 22 to 27.

As part of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, the Prime Minister participated in the "Summit of the Future." Several dozen presidents and heads of government from around the world also attended the event.

During this visit, PM Pashinyan is scheduled to hold meetings and discussions with leaders of various countries and institutions.
