Chess Olympiad: Armenian men's team defeats England in 7th round

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 18, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian men's chess team claimed victory in the 7th round of the World Chess Olympiad.

In this round, held in Budapest, Hungary, Armenia faced off against the England team. Shant Sargsyan, Gabriel Sargissian, and Robert Hovhannisyan secured draws for Armenia, while Haik Martirosyan achieved a win.

The final score was 2.5–1.5 in favor of Armenia over England. 

The World Chess Olympiad will conclude on September 22.
