Iranian Ambassador to Armenia visits substation under construction in Noravank

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Mehdi Sobhani visited the 400 kV substation under construction in Noravank and reviewed the progress of the third power transmission line project between Iran and Armenia, which is being carried out by the Iranian company Sanir.

According to the press service of the Iranian Embassy in Armenia, during the visit, the Ambassador was briefed on the project's progress and examined its implementation and technical stages on site.

Following the visit, Mehdi Sobhani held a meeting with experts and specialists. The source highlighted that this project is of significant importance as a key initiative for enhancing cooperation in the energy sector between the two countries.
