Yerevan to host 10th IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 11, ARMENPRESS. The Tenth Inter-Parliamentary Union Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians will take place on 12-14 September 2024 in Yerevan, Armenia.

It aims to prioritize youth education and employment amid global crises, seeking solutions to prevent lost generations and ensure continuous access to education and job opportunities for all young people.

Over 150 young parliamentarians from 60 countries will attend the event organized by the Armenian Parliament and the IPU.

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will deliver opening remarks at the conference.

IPU President Tulia Ackson and Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Alen Simonyan, among others, will also make remarks at the opening ceremony. 

President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan will deliver remarks at the closing ceremony.
