YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has met with Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) Director-General Qu Dongyu to discuss the current cooperation and expansion of partnership.
FM Mirzoyan underscored that the Armenian government is taking active steps aimed at ensuring food security, modernization of the agriculture sector, as well as more efficient use of innovations aimed at developing the sector, the foreign ministry said in a readout.
Mentioning the 2020-2030 strategy developed with FAO support and implemented programs, the foreign minister stressed Armenia’s interest to continue contributing to further enhancement of partnership through mutual steps.
