YEREVAN, JULY 9, ARMENPRESS. The world-famous Hollywood actor Kevin Spacey addressed the issue of the demonstrations against him in Armenia.
Kevin Spacey discussed the topic during a meeting with his fans within the Golden Apricot Film Festival, answering the question of one of the journalists.
"I was invited to your country as an honored guest of the film festival. It is a great honor for me to be here. I had a wonderful time with the students yesterday. I'm not involved in any controversial situations; I don't know anything about it," said Spacey.
Kevin Spacey has been invited to Armenia as a guest of honor at the Golden Apricot Film Festival. The Oscar-winning actor is holding an open meeting with his fans at the Cinema House on July 9.
A number of non-governmental organizations protested against Kevin Spacey's visit to Armenia.
The reason is that the actor was accused of committing sexual assault, despite the fact that a US court found him innocent and acquitted him. The actor's meeting with fans was initially supposed to take place at the American University, but it was canceled due to protests by public organizations.
Later, it became known that the meeting would be held at the House of Cinema.
