BDO Armenia and Orion Worldwide Innovations are launching the Power Consulting Days program to develop an alternative investment environment

YEREVAN, JULY 9, ARMENPRESS. BDO Armenia, a member of BDO International Limited, one of the world's largest audit, tax, and consulting networks, and Orion Worldwide Innovations, a hub for startup growth and ecosystem acceleration, announce the launch of the Power Consulting Days program in Armenia.

Power Consulting Days is a series of seminars and practical professional sessions where businesses will gain essential knowledge in investment and related areas from leading Armenian and global specialists, along with insights from success stories. Participants will receive comprehensive updates on the current economic landscape, the legislative framework governing investments in the Republic of Armenia, and recent developments.

In 2022, Corporate venture capital (CVC) funding has reached an impressive $55.1 billion. In 2023, private equity-managed assets worldwide reached around $4.7 trillion, and venture capital-managed assets hit $1.2 trillion.

The program is essentially a 12-month mentoring club aimed at supporting economic development in Armenia by providing businesses with advice on alternative investments.

“There are many unexplained issues in the investment sector in Armenia, which, if not addressed, can lead to challenges when making critical decisions. The series of consulting days is tailored for medium and large businesses in need of professional consulting. This includes innovative companies, organizations with available funds ready for investment, funds, venture firms, and angel investors. Leading experts in the field, particularly those with practical experience in investment consulting, will work with participants," said Aharon Chilingaryan, Partner and Head of Tax, International Trade, and Legal Services Department at BDO.

The Power Consulting Days sessions will highlight important directions for the development of the alternative investment field in Armenia.
