Early elections of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis scheduled for September 1

YEREVAN, JUNE 28, ARMENPRESS. The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, signed a decree to dissolve the Milli Majlis (Parliament). Early elections of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan should be scheduled for September 1, 2024, according to a statement from the official website of the President of Azerbaijan.

The Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan voted on a draft decision on dissolution and calling for early elections on June 21. The project was accepted.
