YEREVAN, JUNE 27, ARMENPRESS. Armenia is ready for a full settlement of relations with Turkey, establishing diplomatic relations and opening the border.
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan at a joint press conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia MargusTsahkna.
Ararat Mirzoyan said that during discussions with his Estonian colleague, regional topics, the general geopolitical situation and current challenges, and the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and its neighbors were touched upon.
“With Turkey,Armenia is readyto fully normalize establish diplomatic relations and open the borders. During our dialogue with our Turkish counterparts, we alreadycame to concrete agreements to open and may outline the steps that can be undertaken towards full normalization and speaking about opening the border for third country nationals, but also Armenian Turkish citizens who hold diplomatic passports. We continually reaffirmour determination to this arrangement and I truly believe that it's already the time to implement the arrangements,” Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized.
