Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Ayrum-Bagratashen highway is closed

YEREVAN, MAY 30, ARMENPRESS. Vanadzor-Alaverdi-Ayrum-Bagratashen highway is closed,reported Road Department.

Drivers are urged to bypass the M-6 on the way to the border of Georgia with the M-3 Margara-Vanadzor-Tashir-Armenian border and M-1 Yerevan-Gyumri-Armenian border interstate highways.

According to the data of the rescue service, a partial collapse occurred in the pedestrian section of the bridge near Getapnya village of Ararat region, as a result of which the traffic on the bridge was stopped.

The section of the M-4, Yerevan-Sevan-Ijevan-Armenian border highway from Dilijan to Ijevan is drivable. In some areas, however, the traffic is one-way.

The bridge leading to Khashtarak and Lusahovit villages is closed on both ways.

According to the information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs of North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open for all types of vehicles.
