Armenia, Azerbaijan border delimitation state commissions hold meeting

YEREVAN, MARCH 7, ARMENPRESS. On March 7, the 7th meeting of the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security of the State Border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia was held on the border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan, under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev, the Armenian Foreign Ministry said.

According to the source, the parties exchanged views on delimitation issues and proceeded with aligning thedraft Regulation on joint activity of the Commission on Delimitation and Border Security of the State Border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan and the State Commission on the Delimitation of the State Border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia. Thedrafts of relevant guidelines for delimitation order were also discussed.

According to the ministry, the parties have agreed to complete the aligning of the draft Regulation on joint activity of the Commissions within a short timeframe.

The sides agreed to set the date and the place of the next meeting of the Commissions in working order.
