People who have left Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to come home – says U.S. State Department

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS. The United States Department of State has said that the people who have left Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to return home.

“I’ll say that we continue to believe that people who have left Nagorno-Karabakh have the right to come home if they wish to do so, and that’s a right that should be upheld,” Department of State spokesperson Matthew Miller said at a press briefing.

Over 100,000 Armenians were forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh after the September 19 Azeri attack. The forcibly displaced persons moved to Armenia.
