Azerbaijan again falsely accuses Armenia of border shooting in intense disinformation campaign

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. The Azeri defense ministry continues generating fake news, Armenian authorities warned Thursday.

The Armenian Ministry of Defense warned that Azerbaijan on Thursday again falsely accused Armenia of opening fire across the border – the third such fake report in one day.

“The statement disseminated by the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan as if on September 14, at around 2:50 p.m. the units of the Armenian Armed Forces discharged fire against the Azerbaijani combat positions in the southwestern part of the frontier zone, does not correspond to reality,” the ministry said.
