BTA. PM Denkov Meets with World Bank Delegation

YEREVAN, JULY 14, ARMENPRESS/BTA.Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov met with a delegation of the World Bank, led by Gallina Vincelette and Marina Wes - current and future World Bank's Country Director for the European Union (EU), the Council of Ministers' Facebook page said Thursday evening.

The talks were also attended by Lesse Melgaard, Resident Representative for Bulgaria, Czechia, and Slovakia.

Denkov briefed the delegation on the government's pro-European priorities and Bulgaria's efforts for full membership of the euro area and Schengen.

The World Bank representatives presented Denkov with the possibility of preparing a new Partnership Framework with Bulgaria - a strategic document under which the World Bank determines its support to different countries around the world. The delegation assured the Prime Minister of the international institution's readiness to support Bulgaria with the whole range of instruments - from lending operations to analytical advisory activities and preparation of specialised reports.
