BTA. Second Day of CEE Green Transition Forum

YEREVAN, JUNE 21, ARMENPRESS/BTA. The Green Week 2023 forum, dedicated to the green transition in countries of Central and Eastern Europe, energy connectivity, green finance and innovation, continues in Sofia on Wednesday.

The three-day forum is organized by dir.bg and 3E News. The transformation of economies, industries of the future, innovation and social expectations of European citizens will be among the highlights.

On Wednesday’s agenda are green finance, circular economy, industry decarbonization, innovations as accelerator for competitiveness and economic growth and theor effects on education and healthcare.

Participants include European Investment Bank (EIB) Vice President Liliyana Pavlova, International Monetary Fund Resident Representative for Bulgaria Jeoff Gottlieb, Bulgarian Development Bank CEO Tsanko Arabadzhiev, Bulgarian Education Minister Galin Tsokov, Bulgaria Innovation Minister Milena Stoycheva, Iliyana Tsanova, Deputy Director General of the Director General for Budget with the European Commisson, Radoslav Milchev, head of the AI laboratory at Sofia Tech Park, and Sasha Bezuhanova, founder of Move. BG. Harvard professor Mark Esposito and co-author of the best sellers “The AI Republic" и "Understanding How the Future Unfolds" will be a keynote speaker.
