Ambassador of Netherlands recites Tumanyan in Armenian Genocide memorial

YEREVAN, APRIL 24, ARMENPRESS. The Ambassador of the Netherlands to Armenia NicoSchermers issued a video message from Tsitsernakaberd Memorial in Yerevan expressing support to the Armenian people on the 108th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.

“Today, on April 24th, Armenians around the world commemorate the innocent victims of the Armenian Metdz Yeghern. The people of the Kingdom of Netherlands pay tribute to the memory of the martyrs and express support to the Armenian people,” Ambassador Schermers said in Armenian language.

He then recited a part from Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan’s For My Fatherland.
