Armenia and Kazakhstan discuss cooperation in energy, transport and aviation

YEREVAN, APRIL 17, ARMENPRESS. Armenian Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan has held a meeting with the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imanbayev to discuss issues relating to cooperation in energy, transport and aviation.

Sanosyan attached importance to the need for deepening the existing cooperation between Armenia and Kazakhstan and noted that the two countries have great untapped potential in numerous sectors, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures said in a readout.

The Kazakh ambassador also called for deepening of partnership in various areas.

The minister and the ambassador also discussed issues relating to the agenda of the upcoming 9th session of the Armenian-Kazakh Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation due on April 27-28.

The need for enhancing inter-regional cooperation was also highlighted by both parties.
