Armenian FM, US Assistant Secretary of State discuss regional security issues

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 10, ARMENPRESS. Foreign Minister of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan had a telephone conversation with USAssistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Keren Donfried on February 10.

As ARMENPRESS was informed from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the interlocutors touched on regional security issues.

The sides exchanged thoughts on the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, the humanitarian crisis in Nagorno-Karabakh. Ararat Mirzoyan reaffirmed the need to remove the illegal blockade of the Lachin Corridor by Azerbaijan as soon as possible and to open the corridor without any preconditions, restoring the normal regime defined by the trilateral declaration of November 9, 2020.
