YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 9, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian urban search-and-rescue teams sent to Turkey and Syria to help in responding to the aftermath of the devastating February 6 earthquake continue to work in the Turkish Adiyaman city and Syrian Aleppo city, the ministry of internal affairs said.
In Adiyaman, the rescuers set up their deployment base and search-and-rescue operations are underway in various locations.
In Aleppo, the rescuers conducted a situation assessment in four locations, while in one location the operations continue with two shifts, with the involvement of a K9 unit.
