Various potential candidates under consideration as next Ombudsperson, says lawmaker

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 2, ARMENPRESS. Lawmakers from the Civil Contract faction are considering “various persons” as potential candidates as next Ombudsperson following Kristinne Grigoryan’s resignation earlier in January.

“There’ve been discussions. As far as I know there’s no decision yet,” MP Arusyak Julhakyan said at a press briefing when asked whether or not they’ve discussed whom to nominate.

She said discussions are taking place around various persons.
