Azerbaijan's claim is neither sincere nor real. Armenia asks the International Court to reject it

YEREVAN, JANUARY 31, ARMENPRESS. The request for interim measures presented by Azerbaijan in the UN International Court of Justice is an insincere and unrealistic request, ARMENPRESS reports Yeghishe Kirakosyan, representative of Armenia on International Legal Matters, said in his concluding speech at the discussion of Azerbaijan’s claim against Armenia at the UN International Court of Justice, adding that Armenia is asking the court to reject Azerbaijan's claim.

"As the legal advisers have shown, Azerbaijan's request for interim measures is an insincere and unrealistic request. It is designed to create a false impression of equality. Based on the oral presentations, Armenia respectfully asks the Court to completely reject Azerbaijan's request for interim measures," Kirakosyan said.

On January 30, the hearings of Armenia's claim against Azerbaijan were held at the UN International Court of Justice.
