Armenian Church to offer requiem dedicated to victims of barracks fire

YEREVAN, JANUARY 21, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian Church will serve a requiem dedicated to the victims of the January 19 fire in a military barracks.

Catholicos Garegin II will serve the requiem at the Saint Gayane Church on January 22. The church service will begin at 11:00, the Mother See of Holy Etchmiatsin said in a statement.

The requiem will be served in the Mother See of Holy Etchmiatsin and all diocesan seat churches.

The January 19 fire in the barracks of an engineering-sapper company of the Armenian Armed Forces killed 15 servicemen. 3 others were injured.
