YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. In the present crisis situation, companies producing essential food items continue to operate, the Ministry of Finance and Economy of the Republic of Artsakh in told ARMENPRESS.

"In general, we assess their activities as sufficient, the existing potential is sufficient to solve the presented problems. We can say that there is no shortage of food at the moment.

Food reserves are sufficient, but due to the blocking of gas supply, we are facing a fuel crisis, which in the long run will affect the organization of uninterrupted work of gas-consuming bread factories, as well as other factories aimed at ensuring the vital needs of the population," the Ministry said, adding that steps are now being taken to find alternative solutions in that direction, and an agreement has been reached with the economic operators to switch to frugal mode.
