Armenian weightlifter Samvel Gasparyan wins bronze at 2022 IWF World Weightlifting Championships

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Armenian weightlifter Samvel Gasparyan won bronze at the 2022 IWF World Weightlifting Championships in Bogota, Colombia, gaining the Armenian team’s first medal at the Olympic qualifier.
Gasparyan won bronze at the 102kg division with a total result of 389kg (175+214).
In the women’s division, Liana Gyurjyan and Hripsime Khurshudyan will perform on December 15.
The superheavyweight division competitions will take place on the last day of the championship.
