Documentary about Marshal Baghramyan premieres in Moscow

YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. A documentary about the life of Marshal of the Soviet Union Hovhannes Baghramyan premiered in Moscow on the occasion of the renowned Armenian military commander’s 125th anniversary of birth.

The screening took place at Poklonnaya Hill’s Victory Museum.

The film was written and produced by Arthur Soghomonyan from the Heritage and Progress Foundation. Soghomonyan said that he is working on a series of documentaries about five renowned Armenian Marshals, pointing out that all five were born in Karabakh.

The Armenian Ambassador to Russia Vagharshak Harutyunyan said that there were powerful Marshals in the Soviet Union, who achieved global victory and the world appreciates them.

Family members of WWII commanders, Hero of Russia title recipients, military officials, historians, reporters and others attended the premiere.
