Greek MPs visit Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS. Members of Parliament of Greece PeriklisMantas, Anastasios Bartzokas and Konstantinos Zacharakis visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan on November 29, the Genocide Museum-Institute said.

The delegation was accompanied by Chairman of the Armenian Parliamentary Standing Committee on European Integration Affairs Arman Yeghoyan.

The guests were introduced on the history of the creation of the Memorial by Deputy Director of the Museum Lusine Abrahamyan.

The Greek MPs laid flowers at the Eternal Flame, paying tribute to the memory of the Genocide victims with a moment of silence.

The guests also toured the Armenian Genocide Museum, got acquainted with the permanent and temporary exhibits. At the end of the visit the Greek MPs left notes at the Honorary Guest Book.
