Elon Musk Likens Belogradchik Rocks to Fantasy Land

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS.Tech billionaire Elon Musk inadvertently helped popularize the Belogradchik Rocks formation and Bulgaria. On Monday, Musk commented via his Twitter account on a photo of the Kaleto fortress in Belogradchik taken by Bulgarian photographer Vladislav Terziyski.

The photo was shot with a drone and reveals the uniqueness of the rocks and the historical fortress. Musk tweeted: "Pretty sure that was in Elden Ring." The place he points to is a location from a fantasy video game.

The photo got 13,600 more likes after Musk's retweet.

The Belogradchik Fortress and Rocks are among Bulgaria's 100 national tourist sites. Since the beginning of this year, the site has been visited by nearly 70,000 Bulgarian and foreign tourists. The site also hosts the annual Opera of the Peaks summer festival and an autumn hot air balloon fiesta.
