‘We cannot trust Turkey with U.S. military equipment’ - Rep. Pallone 

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. American F-16 fighter jets cannot be sold to Turkey, US Congressman Frank Pallone said, condemning the Turkish airstrikes in northern Syria and Iraq.

“Erdogan bombed civilian infrastructure, including a hospital. This is yet another reason why I am working to block the sale of F-16 fighter jets to Turkey. Erdogan's pattern of aggression shows that we cannot trust him with U.S. military equipment”, Pallone tweeted.

The New York Times reports Turkish fighter jets carried out dozens of airstrikes in northern Syria and Iraq on Sunday, in what Turkish officials called an antiterrorism campaign to root out militants they accused of orchestrating.
