YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. The acting manager of the Armenian national football team says their Kosovar counterparts are strong competitors.
“We’ve watched and studied the matches of the national football team of Kosovo,” the Armenia acting manager Roman Berezovsky told reporters ahead of the 16 November Armenia-Kosovo friendly.
“We know that one of the Kosovo players, the team’s star, Vedat Muriqi, is absent. But Kosovo is a very strong team with fine players. And we have many young players, and we hope that the experienced players will share their experience with the young teammates, will help them gain confidence both on the field and generally in the team,” Berezovsky said.
Berezovsky added that his goal during the upcoming matches against both Kosovo and Albania is to test the young players, but the result is also important.
