YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. In October 2022, the number of tourist visits to Armenia was 154,847, ARMENPRESS reports Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan wrote on his official Facebook page on November 7.
He noted that during the first 10 months of the current year, the number of tourists who came to Armenia was 1,400,000.
"In the period of January-October 2022, the five countries that registered an increase in tourist visits to Armenia are Russia (around 46%), Georgia (8%), Iran (7%), the USA (4%) and Germany (2%).
49% of this year's visitors were tourists aged 36-63, and in October, mostly men visited Armenia," the minister informed.
