Foreign Minister receives delegation of EU Monitoring Capacity in Armenia

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan received today leader of the EU Monitoring Capacity in Armenia MarekSzczygieł and his delegation, the Foreign Ministry said.

During the meeting the Foreign Minister presented the current security situation in the region following the latest aggression of Azerbaijan against Armenia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as the positions of the Armenian side over the normalization of the relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

The FM highlighted the deployment of the EU civilian mission in Armenia, expressing confidence that it will contribute to establishing stability and peace in the region.

MarekSzczygieł thanked the Armenian side for the support provided to the EU civilian mission and introduced the framework of their activities and upcoming works in Armenia.

The sides also discussed issues relating to future partnership.
