Security Council Secretary receives delegation led by leader of EU Monitoring Capacity in Armenia

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan received today leader of the EU Monitoring Capacity in Armenia, Head of the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia MarekSzczygieł, the Office of the Security Council said.

The meeting was also attended by Head of the EU Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin.

Welcoming the visit of the head of the Mission to Armenia, the Secretary of the Security Council praised the results of the bilateral partnership. He expressed confidence that the bilateral cooperation has potential to contribute to strengthening the security environment in the region.

In turn MarekSzczygieł thanked for the support both at the state and local levels, particularly highlighting the high readiness to contribute to the bilateral cooperation.

The activity of the EU civilian mission was also discussed during the meeting.
