YEREVAN, OCTOBER 13, ARMENPRESS. Active-duty contract servicemembers of the Armenian Armed Forces will be eligible for salary bonuses if they successfully pass a voluntary certification process.
PM Nikol Pashinyan said this regulation will double the salaries of contract servicemen. He reminded that the similar voluntary certification process is introduced in schools for teachers as well.
“We’ve decided that we must apply the certification system in case of military service and other services as well. The voluntary certification process will begin immediately after the law takes effect. Servicemembers who successfully pass the certification will have their salaries doubled, and sometimes even more,” the PM said at the Cabinet meeting where the bill was adopted.
