YEREVAN, OCTOBER 11, ARMENPRESS. Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu described the recent meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Prague as “productive”, and at the same time said that opening the airspace for Armenia and launching direct flights was a “positive gesture for Armenia”.
“We made gestures, we opened our airspace, direct flights were launched, we are making other gestures also, certain work on the borders….there are delimitating rivers on our border, we must study whether or not there are changes in their flow, there are roads, bridges and passages. Meaning, in the future, when the relations will be normalized, the borders must be opened, preparations must be done for that. After all, our president discussed all these issues during the meeting with Pashinyan in a friendly and sincere atmosphere and approach, it was a productive meeting,” Cavusoglu said during an interview with the Turkish TVNET broadcaster.
