One new postage stamp dedicated to theme “Prominent Armenians. 100th Anniversary of Ohan Duryan”

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. On September 13th, 2022, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 100th Anniversary of Ohan Duryan” has been put into circulation, HayPost CJSC said.

The participants of the postage stamp presentation were the Deputy Minister of High-Technological Industry of the Republic of Armenia Davit Sahakyan, the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia Arayik Khzmalyan, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of “HayPost” CJSC Arayik Abrahamyan, the public figure Vahan Vardapetyan, the President of the Philatelists’ Armenian Association Hovik Musayelyan.

The postage stamp with the nominal value of 230 AMD depicts the prominent Armenian conductor, composer Ohan Duryan (1922-2011).

The postage stamp also depicts the inscription “OHAN DURYAN, 1922-2011” in Armenian and English languages.
