Armenia’s Security Council Secretary comments on Russia’s supply of weapons to Azerbaijan

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 3, ARMENPRESS. Following deadly clashes with Azerbaijan, Armenia has found greater support from the U.S. than it has from its historic ally Russia, Fox News said describing the current situation around Armenia following the latest incidents and presenting the interview with Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan, which has been done during his working visit in the USA.

According to Fox News, Armenian officials are "concerned" about Russia's continued supply of weapons to Azerbaijan.

Grigoryan said that Russia’s role as an Azeri weapons supplier is "nothing new" and a "long story" that Armenia has raised with Moscow.

“It's public information: Yes, it's true. And that concerns us very much, and it's not a new story,” he said.

During the interview Armen Grigoryan also talked about the latest military aggression of Azerbaijan against Armenia, stating that the international community should take steps and condemn the use of force by Azerbaijan.
