Armenia’s Security Council Secretary, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense discuss development of bilateral ties

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 29, ARMENPRESS. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with the United States Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia, Laura Cooper, in Washington D.C., the Office of the Security Council said.

At the meeting, Armen Grigoryan presented in details the large-scale aggression launched by Azerbaijan against Armenia’s sovereign territory on September 13 and its consequences.

The sides discussed the development prospects of the bilateral relations. Particularly, they both highlighted the activities aimed the democracy governance of the Armenian Armed Forces, and increasing the level of transparency and accountability.
