Azerbaijan asks ECHR for additional time to provide complete information about Armenian POWs

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS. The government of Azerbaijan has requested additional time from the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) to provide complete information about Armenian prisoners of war, the Office of Armenia’s Representative on International Legal Affairs said.

“In response to a number of demands submitted by the government of Armenia to the European Court on applying an interim measure against Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani government has asked the European Court for additional time for providing complete information about the prisoners of war. The Court approved the request. The new deadline for Azerbaijan is September 29”, the Office said.
