CSTO Secretary General visits Vayots Dzor province in Armenia

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 22, ARMENPRESS. CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas led his delegation to the border region of the Vayots Dzor province near the border with Azerbaijan as part of their visit to Armenia, the CSTO Secretariat said in a statement.

Zas met with the commanders of the Armenian Armed Forces units deployed at the line of contact, as well as with local authorities. Zas also inspected the areas which were bombarded and talked with servicemen who participated in the military operations.

The CSTO mission is in Armenia to assess the situation and prepare a report for leaders of CSTO member states following the Azerbaijani attack on Armenia.
