Head of Russian FSS Border Guard Department briefs Chief of CSTO Joint Staff on Armenia-Azerbaijan border situation

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 16, ARMENPRESS. Head of theBorderGuardDepartmentof the RussianFederal Security ServiceinArmenia, Lieutenant - GeneralRomanGolubitskibriefed Chief of CSTO Joint Staff Anatoly Sidorov on the current situation in the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the CSTO Telegram account said.
“The situation in the responsibility zone of the Russian Border Guard Department in Armenia is stable but tense. As of today, of course, the calmest sections are the Armenian-Turkish and the Armenian-Iranian borders”, he said, adding that they are seeking to ensure the border security in all directions in cooperation with the Armenian Armed Forces and local authorities.
