France’s Macron holds phone talk with King Charles III of UK

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, ARMENPERSS. During a telephone conversation with UK’s King Charles III, French President Emmanuel Macron has expressed the commitment to maintain firm ties between the two countries.

“In a telephone conversation with Charles III, I extended my condolences to him over the passing away of Elizabeth II”, Macron said on Twitter. “I will attend the Queen’s funeral on Monday”, he added.

Marcon said that they will continue developing the ties between France and the United Kingdom moving on the path set by late Queen Elizabeth II.

Queen Elizabeth II died on September 8 at the age of 96.
