YEREVAN, MARCH 15, ARMENPRESS. In the State Revenue Committee’s (SRC) department of administrative proceedings and discovery of violations, the volume of document circulation from different units of the State Revenue Committee increased significantly in January-February 2017 and in 2016, compared to 2015.

“If we received 1080 documents in 2015, in 2016 over 2000”, head of the department Samvel Sinanyan said.

An attempted large scale misappropriation of state fees was discovered during investigation of tax evasion cases in the Investigations unit of the department.

According to Sinanyan, the Air Armenia airlines charged the state fee for exit of individuals in the prices of air tickets in 2014-2016, however, it failed to transfer the amounts to the state budget within three days, as required by law, and it appropriated the money, by causing large damages to the state worth 683 million 723 thousand drams, which comprised 1 billion 486 million drams with penalties.

A criminal case has been launched.
